To date, the Center for Public Health and Technology and the Public Health Program at the University of Arkansas have partnered with Community Clinic on programs, student-based learning assignments, and internships, where public health undergraduate and graduate students are provided a hands-on learning experience from our community partner.
Community Clinic is a federally qualified health center and community health center with 17 sites in the Northwest Arkansas area. They serve approximately 15,000 Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islanders (NHPI), mostly Marshallese Islanders, and a large Hispanic population, providing culturally competent information for patients in the language they prefer to speak.
